I am from the small town of Stuttgart, Arkansas. My entire life I wanted to venture out, see the world, and start my own wedding business. Thanks to an outgoing, hard-working, red-headed man I met in 2011, this became a reality. 

After graduating from Arkansas State University, I married Jack on September 10, 2016. We moved from Mississippi to Colorado to Tennessee in less than three years; if I never see a moving truck or pack another box again, it will be too soon. After only being in Chattanooga for a few months, we knew this was the place to plant our roots. In October of 2019, Jack and I decided to embark on our craziest adventure yet: An Ellington Event. On November 4, 2021, our lives changed forever! We brought sweet, baby Frederick Scott into the world. Now I have two red-headed boys supporting me and all my dreams.

An Ellington Event’s motivation comes from a little girl dreaming of planning weddings while watching brides say “I Do” in iconic television weddings: The Wedding Planner, Steel Magnolias, My Best Friend’s Wedding, A Walk to Remember, and many more.
